Help! The CIA are spamming me!

Had some problems with the webserver this morning, as one of the cron scripts on my soon-to-be-launched-honest Lottery site was tying up the CPU with several instances of itself. Not sure why this happened, or why there should be so many instances of it, but I’ll go over it in the next few days tro ensure there are no infinite loops in there or something.

While poking about I had a quick look at the process list and found this:

    S 12:17 0:00 sendmail: q4/jB85xTO26569 relay7.ucia.gov.: user open

Initially I thought someone or something was using my server to relay mail, but a quick Google turned up this page (cached, in case it mysteriously disappears) which reveals relay7.ucia.gov to be an open SMTP server. Da gubmint internets are onta me!
