Woohoo! Free Monitor!

My sister somehow came into posession of a Samsung SyncMaster 152v that didn't do anything. Figuring something had blown I stripped it down and searched the boards for blown components but, finding none, I enlisted the remote help of Mr.Foo to see if we could find anything.
In the end it all proved too much for me (regular readers will know I'm rather fond of electric shocks, apparently) and the board was dispatched to Foo Towers, only to return a week later with a replaced fuse. A damned fuse! It was cunningly hidden in a sleeve of black... stuff, and our resident 'lectrics guru promptly replaced it with a holder and shipped it back.
A live reassembly session occurred on Stickam and, amazingly, there were no casualties. Not even the monitor in fact, for it powered back on without so much as a crackly of electricity or puff of smoke.
Picture is cool, good colour and brightness (for a 2004 monitor) so I'll probably sell it along with the old Athlon 800 machine I have doing nothing. I realise you can't have too many monitors about the place, but...
