The Big Spam Switch-Off

This morning I finally took the step of shutting down the catchall address on my server. My mail is split into two accounts, one of which I want to see as soon as it arrives and the other that I don't care if I never see. Spammed addresses go into the latter.

Since that point, I've only received genuine spam, as opposed to bounces from other people. I've gone from 500 bounces a day (conservative estimate) to zero, and that suits me just fine.
