Oh that's disgusting...

I've been given a tiny wee Compaq Evo to have a look at after I spotted it running at 100% CPU time and the Task Manager window would close without letting me see what was running. Hmmm! Symptoms of the Gaobot, Agobot or whatever the hell it's called.

I cracked open the case and... well basically I recoiled in horror at the mounds of crud that were clustered anywhere the air flowed. it truly wasn disgusting. Not only that, there was a smell of tiny computer death - the musty odour of shed human skin being slowly cooked on a hot CPU. Ugh.

There were only 13 infections on the machine, but it was enough to cripple it. By the time I'd finished I needed a shower.
