LOL! WTF? For some reason, I decided to try and check up on my WoW progress from work. Instead of installing the game on my laptop and playing it from here, I thought it'd be a spiffing idea to stream the video from my desktop at home instead. Uh...

Plodding round Ironforge at 1fps and in 16 colours is not my idea of fun. I fell into that great big crack/chasm that runs between the Auction House and the Bank and... couldn't get out. I could stream the video in 16 colours to allow occasional movement, or in 65k colours to allow me to see where I was in detail, but not both at the same time.

I did actually manage to get onto the ramp outta there, but then fell off again. Now I know how the guys driving the Mars rovers feel :-)
