Froogling for Fun and Profit

14:43.49 - Thursday 12th May 2005   (Link to This Entry)

I've been busy with a couple of Froogle scripts today for another couple of clients of mine. I already have two jewellery retailers (one of which has 2000+ items on sale), and I've added a bunch of photos and some used cars.

The used cars one is a strange one and I'm not sure if Froogle will accept it, though there's really no reason why they shouldn't. I've got the scripts working (I hope) perfectly and all that remains is for Froogle to approve the two new stores - yay!

I still fail to see why I can't junk link to these PHP scripts direct on my server, since it would save me loads of time. Perhaps it's their way of making sure stale, stagnant lists are not tainting the Froogle experience - you actually have to upload your own list for it to be included for the next thirty days. Not a bad idea, but still a pain in the arse.
