Nokia 6680 Fone Farce

Sometimes things are just destined not to go smoothly here.

I spotted M on MSN and she told me that my new Nokia 6680 had arrived today, so I was looking forward to getting home and charging the wee beastie ready to use it over the weekend.

Perhaps unsuprisingly, I've just this minute had a call from MobileShop to tell me that their suppliers had sent out handsets that were only compatible with the 3 network, not O² as I had actually ordered. As I wouldn't touch 3 with a 10-ft pole, my shiny new phone has got to go back again. Sob! Doubtless I'm not the only one, but that's not the point. I WANT MY DAMNED PHONE!

I'm starting to feel a bit like this.

Goshdarned Porn Spammers

My Free SubDomain Service was taking a bit of a battering from a porn spammer just recently. I had previously told him that I objected to his 200+ domains and changed the T&Cs accordingly, but the guy created two more accounts to get around it.

So I rewrote the T&Cs again, this time denying links to porn, and dropping the limit for domains on one account to 25, down from 50. I then went through the database and deleted all the pr0n links - that'll learn 'im!
