Dungeon Siege, New 'Reviews' Section

12:09.53 - Friday 17th September 2004   (Link to This Entry)

Last night's re-introduction to Dungeon Siege lasted an insane eight hours as BootBlock and myself waded in from the start - him with a new character, me with my Campaigner - and got all the way to Quillrabe, with Skeletons and Droogs bitch-slapping us at every opportunity. Certainly gives you the ability to level up, at least.

I've added another page to the website. It's nothing brilliant, just a page where all the review links are gathered in one place, so that you can see stuff of potential interest without trawling through every single entry. There's no scripting behind it because it's easy enough to add new links as and when i review something, but I was tempted to have it generating automatically from a text file along the lines of:

YYMMDD:Title of Entry
YYMMDD:Another Entry
YYMMDD: ...

And so on. This wouldn't have been difficult to do, and I could have built it into the admin area (enter a date number and a title and it adds it to the links) but it seemed a bit overkill. Perhaps I'll leave that until I'm sufficiently bored...

New Mini-Bl0g for handhelds, PDAs and Pocket PCs.

For those of you who just can't wait until you're in front of a full-sized PC, there's a new version of this website for Pocket PC owners. Simply point your handheld in the direction of www.bl0g.co.uk/mini/ to read it.

Alternatively, if you try to access this part of the site on your handheld, it may try to redirect you. This bit depends on your HTTP_USER_AGENT though, so don't expect it to work every time.
