Short and Sweet

Our nutty builders are back in, finishing off the kitchen and installing a new fireplace and gas fire. Periodically, one or the other will burst into song, launching into a heartfelt rendition of some obscure little ditty or other. Only problem is, they can never remember the words, or sing.

Dell called yesterday, and they reckon my Axim X30 will be here tomorrow. I've received a PDF shipping note/invoice via email and I'm gonna be camping the Redeemer front door from about 8am.

BootBlock has updated his site at last. Poor guy seems to have acquired our recent run of shitty luck and taken it with him to Scunthorpe. Gnngh.

Brief Update

Of course things didn't go smoothly - the gas fire we have was actually too deep for the recess into the wall, which is flat and only one brick deep. GAH! £145 lighter and we're ready to try again, only the fitters are nowhere in the area.

M's auctions are going better, with almost £4 worth of bids now.

I have a pr0n-dialler laden machine to go and sort out tonight, which will be fun.
