I've been busy, OK? Sunday I was up at 8am painting the new fence with some Cuprinol crap that was precisely the same colour and texture as diarrhea. Thankfully it didn't smell like that, but it still took several hours to get the whole fence done, and I'd caught a bit too much sun by the end of it as well. Mother dearest turned up as I finished so we had a chat while I recovered.
M has been a cheeky bleeder this week by walking into MFI and demanding that they sell us a fridge-freezer at half price because we still haven't received the last two doors for our kitchen. Currently you can buy half-price appliances if you spend £500 or more on units, which we did back in.. February I think. The manager said OK though, and so we're expecting a Bosch Logixx in the post in about two weeks.
Mother gave me a Playstation, complete with a MadCatz Dual Shock, memory card and a copy of Tomb Raider. It works, too! Not chipped, but Mr.Foo has offered to do that for me, so it could happen. I'll see what originals my brother has. Why? Er.. she runs a charity shop and she's not allowed to sell electricals. Fair enough.
What else?
I'm pretty much adjusted to not having coffee anymore. I wake up just fine without a cuppa, though I get the occasional headache and have a couple of cups every other day. Today is a caffeine-free day, tomorrow may not be. I still feel pretty good, too.
I started writing a JavaScript version of Yahtzee the other day. I've no idea why, since I play it on my mobile, but it's more of a programming excercise than anything - just to see if I can do it. So far it displays the five dice, holds and rolls them and allows you to plonk the scores down. Once I get the rounds and the bonus quirks implemented it'll be pretty much done.
