Remember that Plantronics M3000 Bluetooth Headset I finally went out and paid full whack for? The 'Third Time Lucky' one after my spell of bad luck? The one that I've used.. what.. twice? Well it's dead. Completely and utterly dead after making two calls on it.

Went into town this morning to exchange it and also to do some banking, and despite the rain there were queues a mile long at both banks, I couldn't get parked and I almost ran over an old neighbour. Sheesh!

Went to bed quite tired last night after rushing around doing computery stuff for clients and friends. Consequently we went to bed without bringing the washing in. "No worries", says M, "It's not gonna rain tonight, it'll be OK".

So of course it rained all night. Not the thunderous showers that would have awakened us immediately and prompted us to bring the washing in, oh no - it was the heavy drizzle that can keep up a good soaking for hours and hours.

And to top it all off, a bird had crapped on a pair of my boxers. Sob!

Installation of the double-glazing is going well. All windows and doors have been done now with the exception of the huge living room window which is being done tomorrow. Currently it's a flat window, and it's being replaced with a bow so that the front of the house looks a bit more interesting.

Thank feck this episode will be over and done with soon. Whew.
