The wind has been picking up quite a bit around here, and it's been causing all kinds of hassles, not least the fact that most people have to retrieve their wheelie-bins from several houses down the street on bin day.

Yesterday was a corker. M came in and asked me to go look at the fence as is was wobbling quite alarmingly. As we watched, the wind just ripped it to pieces - a 6ft fence laid flat in a period of about 20 minutes. Gibber!

Old Skool

Play.com have suffered a spot of bother with their deliveries of Unreal Tournament 2004, and it looks like we won't be getting it until this coming friday now. Anxious for a Friday Night Fix, BB and I elected to fire up the original Quake and have a bash!

Several hours later we completed it on the Hard setting, playing a Co-op game with Friendly Fire enabled (oops!). Great fun! I'm going to see if anyone wants to join in a Multiplayer Co-Op, NFF on Nightmare next. Should be fun.
