There was an entry on this date already - I swear there was.
It went something like this...

I spent the morning in the middle of a wet and windy car park (don't ask) and decided to take a few minutes out to fiddle with my laptop, Irda thingy and Nokia 6310i to try and get onto the Internet in the middle of nowhere. There was some fun with the Dialup Networking now doing what it was supposed to but I eventually got online at the giddy speed of 28.8kbps - w00! Sadly, I got kicked off again after about a minute, which probably explains where my last posting went.

A friend's son has just qualified as an ear-piercer and was looking around for people to experiment on, hence I'm currently sporting a small gold stud in the top of my right ear. It was a little bit more painful than I remember but then I'd only had my lobes done before, and that was years ago. Still, I'd sooner have this done again than stub my toe. Eventually I'll replace the stud with a small ring or something - it'll be less noticable.

The same son is considering a course for piercing.. other bits.
I don't think I'll be volunteering for that one.
