...mainly because things are progressing amazingly easily, and phpMyAdmin makes keeping track of everything a complete doddle. Somehow I've managed to get through the whole afternoon without a single major f*ckup - quite unusual for me.

I'm currently working on a user registration thing whereby visitors to the website can sign up for updates in their email. I'm taking my time to get things right and.. well.. things are going right. The installation all went OK, and my scrips are inserting records and sending out emails like nobody's business - it's all terribly impressive.

Moving? What? When?!?

Oh boy. Apparently the chain of house-buyers that includes us is meandering towards it's destination on the 7th November, yet nobody told us anything for sure and now we've only just found out. We're going to push for the 14th on the grounds that NTL can't even get the phone line and cable modem line switched over in time if we go a week earlier. That's only six days away and we haven't even started packing yet.

So it looks like, yes, we're moving. Lordy.
