Abbey National - Banking it.

Stayed up until 4am playing GunBound last night - really not the best idea seeing as I wanted to spend today getting the accounts written up. We have the spreadsheet from last year where all went OK, but it was a little confusing and I wanted to make it a lot clearer this time around - maybe saving us some cash on the Accountant's invoice into the bargain.

Little plug here: Abbey National's online/internet/minimal/free business banking service is actually pretty good. I basically do check everything online and, if I need to make a deposit for example, I just bung it into an envelope and post it - very easy and saved firing up the ol' car to take a trip into town, find somewhere to part, keep an eye out for Traffic Wardens (Ahem!) and so on. Much less stress.

And it is free banking as long as you don't exceed the allowances, which are (updated):

• 20 Deposites per Month.
• 100 Cheques deposited per Month.
• £3,000 Cash deposited per Month.
• 50 Cash and Cheque Withdrawals

The very nature of my business (website design, innit) means I have few jobs, but they're generally large cheques, hence there's no way in hell I'm likely to go over these limits. Most excellent.
