NTL: Technology Mutilated.

Oh boy. NTL's DNS system is still crapped out, at least in my area. I got Lord Wubster to find me a cache name and then logged into my webserver via telnet in order to ping it - I can't ping domains names from here as there's no DNS, but I can reach teh webserver via it's IP. Using 62.254.0.12 as a Proxy server magically gets me back onto the web and allows me, amongst other things, to carry on with the website rush job I have on.

It's times like this that I seriously consider moving to ADSL. Pipex are still pretty darned good after all these years, with Mr.Foo and Daniel Thornton having good things to say about them. The only downer is the fact that I have to switch to a BT phone line to get the service, but the way things are going it could only be an improvement.
