Programming today...

Saturday AM, and I'm putting in another few hours on my Lotto Update program, only I've kinda forgotten where I've got to. I already killed off one bug that caused the program to fall over on a Wednesday or Saturday (It was looking for HotPicks results, but HotPicks doesn't have it's own set of results) and I've given the program it's own copy of the results database to work on, rather than having it screw up my local copy of the main site version.

And it seems to be going well. I fired it up and it gave me four red lights, indicating that there are supposed to be four sets of results today and that they don't appear in the database. Come 19:55 tonight it will begin mooching around the Internet looking for them. Of course I will remove the time check so that it'll look for the results outside of the designated checking period, otherwise I could only test it at certain times every night.

Not that this would be much of a hinderace, you understand. I'd normally work on it during that period anyway.

Dayum.

I just realised that I've reached a stage where I can't proceed because I need the latest sets of results to be online. Looks like I'll have to wait until 8pm after all.

American Wedding

19:07.00 - Saturday 11th October 2003   (Link to This Entry)

The WeddingContinuing the bawdy adventures of Jim, Michelle and their friends as the couple prepare to tie the knot, this third in the 'Pie' series manages to maintain the madcap mayhem of it's predecessors without going stale. The rare moment of dodgy camerawork fails to spoil the movie and it manages to keep you entertained for a little over 90 minutes.

Poor old Jim finds himself in two dodgy situations in approximately the first 10 minutes, with Stiffler causing mayhem and... well... just just gotta watch it.

Is it funny? Hell yeah. Is it gross? Um... yup. It's a good watch.
