I've managed to get a few hours kip after wading through a seemingly unending stack of email and staggering off to bed at 3am. Any minute now the phone is gonna ring and I'm going to be plunged back into the world of high-level electronic commerce and advertising. Or I'll load up Photoshop. Whatever.

I think I'm suffering from Climate Change. That is to say, I don't like the climate I've come back to and want to go back to Spain. Everything seems so cold and grey here and it was an effort to even get out of bed.

On the good side I had a letter from the Lotto legal people saying that the changes I'd made to the site are acceptable and that they consider the matter closed. Slapped wrist, don't do it again you naughty little webmaster. At least they were polite and prompt about the whole affair.

Some days nothing seems to go right. WindowsUpdate decided it was gonna 'update' my laptop display drivers by installing something released in June of this year. WTF? Crazy, man! I think I actually downloaded the proper driver install from the nVidia site and WindowsUpdate doesn't approve. Why it can't check version numbers or at least be remotely up to date is beyond me.

Can you believe it? The first time I play the new Lotto Daily Play and of course I don't win a damned thing. Uh... no suprise there really. Seems my brother has been keeping up with the updates fairly well though (either that, or Mr.Foo has) and even entering the draw prizes and stuff like that. Nothing extra for me to do, anyway.

Got some more work lined up for tomorrow, including a possible online booking system for a restaurant/inn place which could be a nice wee thing. The only problem I can see is that it has to be bolted in to an existing site, which may be a clunky redesign, or it may not. We'll see. The same place wants to experiment with streaming video as well, which could be fun.
