Dammit.

This is the last thing I need. The day before I'm due to fly out I get a threatening letter from a book club saying they've cancelled my account and want £90 from me because I haven't met my minimum membership requirement. If I don't order something online 'promptly' they'll pass the debt on to a collection agency.

So I'm looking at the website but the domain name I typed to get there isn't the one that's displayed in half of the logos on the site because it's one of those big groups of companies that owns half the bloody bookclubs in the country.

Anyway I've emailed them to find out what the hells's going on. I can deflect the charges by ordering another book and paying in full but there's no point if it's going to count as a purchase on the wrong club name, and you can just bet that I'm not gonna get a reply before I leave.

Woah - close one.

Seems that parking outside your house in this street is becoming nigh on impossible, so more often that not we have to park on the double-yellow lines just down the road if we want to get parked in the street at all.

I asked M to move the car this morning while I had a lie-in and she promptly went off and did her email instead, so I went out and moved it. Good job I did too, because a Traffic Warden has just gone past. It's not every day that happens I can tell you.
