What's the deal with Windows Update? I found that I required three new patches this morning, but only two of those were available on WindowsUpdate (it may be that I didn't need the DirectX one) and they wouldn't install. What kind of message is this giving?

I am seriously tempted to enable 'Automatic Updates' on these machines so that I get a little requester when they've been downloaded, then I can install 'em, no bother.

All the running around cleaning, repairing and tidying the house seems to have paid off. The first person to view it thought it was great and will be putting an offer in, although to be fair they actually wanted to move to this area anyway. Now all we have to do is find somewhere to live ourselves...
