The flights that M got for £100 have gone up in price slightly. The round trip for two people now comes to £365.10 including taxes. Just a slight jump. Now I'm concerned that they've made a cockup of Kodak-esque proportions. Hey, that's the camera I'm gonna take with me as well :)
With one eye on the news, however, I read about the Bomb Attack in Alicante the other day. I'm not too worried about it because where we're going is a small coastal village, not a centre of business or tourist magnet or anything like that, but it's something I'm going to have to watch carefully.
New Credit Card?

Just taken part in a survey for a major Credit Card Company who shall remain nameless for the time being. They are considering introducing a new card with 3% cashback on purchases from three nominated retailers. You pick, for example, Tesco, Asda and B&Q and you get 3% back on all purchases made at those stores on the card.
Sounds like a good deal to me, and I'd definitely have one seeing as we basically live out of Tesco. I hope, as well, that persons who helped in the survey get first refusal :)
Rock on!

M has gone out to deliver a few various birthday bits, leaving me alone with the recently-reassembled stereo and some CDs that she thought she'd succeeded in hiding from me forever. Honestly, I don't know what she has against Green Day, Blink 182, The Black Crowes, Foo Fighters, Offspring or even Van Halen. Women, eh? Can't live with 'em... I forget how that ends :)
PHP for n00bs.

My PHP reading is going OK and I've progressed the rewritten counter site to the point where it's actually recording stuff now. I've been off it for a couple of days with real work and Lotto related stuff, but I managed to get myself back into the swing of things today and get some of it done. Getting the script to save data is a milestone for me, and I'm suprised that I haven't hit a major milestone yet.
