Oh Man, Chester!

Today's the day my brother moved from Lincoln to Manchester. As he doesn't have a clue about most things, it was up to yours truly to make the 300-odd mile round trip from here to there to yonder in a hired VW-thingy van.

Throughout the trip I have experienced the whole range of Bad Drivers™ trying to kill me in one way or another, from the doddering fool who doesn't know what the dotted white lines are for to the kamikazi sales rep weaving in and out of traffic with gleeful abandon. Other white-van-drivers seemed positively tame by comparison.

And it rained. It rained until Noah though it could rain no more. It rained while we loaded up, it rained while we went there, it rained most of the way back, but it didn't rain while unloading, thankfully. I also had random points of brilliant sunshine and insane high winds to contend with.

But we got him moved, and I mooched on home to a nice hot bath. M has put some burgers on the grill and I'm sat typing in my warm, comfy dressing gown.

All in all, a pretty good day.
