Went out this morning to fit a CDRW drive into someone's machine, nice little retail boxed Benq unit that came complete with Nero full retail (not OEM) and other assorted gubbins. Showed the girlie in the office how to backup her data and everything went perfectly smoothly. Huzzah!

Phwee? Struggled to get some response from the .com registry this morning via 123-Reg's control panel. I got repeated warnings that my nameserver may not exist, despite being able to ping it and knowing for a fact that it was there.

In the end I got p*ssed off and started an email to 123-Reg. Just to be sure I got the wording of the error message right I went through the procedure once more and - typical! - blasted thing worked this time!

Someone hates me, I can tell.

I'll get on with some invoicing I reckon. Not my favourite job but.. well it's work, innit? Gotta get some cash in...
