Worst. Film. Ever.

Well it just had to happen eventually. After hearing about it for years I finally borrowed a copy of Ed Wood's Plan 9 from Outer Space - regularly voted the worst movie of all time. "Can't be that bad" I figured. Oh boy.
Now most people know that vintage vampire actor Bela Lugosi died during filming, and that, rather than remove his name from the credits, his shots were included and a double used for the rest of the film. Even forewarned that the doubled looked nothing like Lugosi, I was confused by the random appearance of two male 'dead' characters. It was only after a scene where the pilot's wife flees a graveyard, and the (ha!) plot thread, that I realised they were actually supposed to be the same character.
With its seemingly random daylight hours, police cars that change into civilian vehicles en-route (amazing alien stealth technology, obviously), wobbly flying saucers, wooden actors, poor plot and more, it's a classic. The film is just so damned bad that it makes Robot Monster look like Lord of the Rings.
In fact it's so bad I may watch it again.
