Made it!

Another Monday morning. I feel better than usual this morning, possibly because I haven't killed myself over the depressing events of the last few days.

We did, eventually, get a courtesy car by ringing the Insurance company and basically telling them to get their finger out. After careful consideration, we upped from the basic kiddie-car to a Ford Fusion 1.4 TDI (see pic) in 'Panther Black', which is a damned nice little motor, even if it is a girl's car. M loves it anyway, and it makes getting in and out a doddle for her, plus she can even drive it for miles with her dodgy back and not feel like David Beckham is tap-dancing on her spine in his footie spikes.

Summer is definitely here though - I've had a couple of bouts of hayfever-inspired sneezing that left me trying to get a quart of snot into a pintpot of tissue. Not fun at all, I can tell ya. These New Era Hippy Salts (or whatever the hell they are) may or may not be working, certainly it's nowhere near as bad as is has been previously, but we'll have to wait and see.

First coffee of the day. Right here. Right now.

More fun on the way!

Hahahah, I've gone and done it again.

I added a new feature to the Lotto site, allowing members to create a 'CC' List of email addresses which will allow them to have their Win Notification emails to other members of their syndicates. Now of course, I tested this, and I'm reasonably sure it's going to work, but.. well.. it's part of that script and.. well it just never goes smoothly, does it?

Bloody thing is jinxed. JINXED I SAY!

Mail call! Maaaaiiil call!

Yay! I finally got my response from the Telephone Preference Service which means we should get a damned sight fewer cold-call phone calls in future, specifically bloody ColdSeal who insist on calling to tell us they have super-special bargains going on, despite the fact they quoted us, signed us up and then pissed us off by asking for over a grand more than the original asking price. Meh.

Leftover Lunch

Bloody knee went again didn't it? Consequently, I was on the lookout for food that could quickly and easily be assembled and eaten with a minimum of fuss, but we have no bread in the house and so the sliced ham in the fridge must wait. But what's this? Chappatis? Hmmm..

So what to put in them? Something tasty and spreadable, but not sweet. Branston Pickle! Lightly-fried Chappatis with a thin spead of small-chunk Branston! Exactly the kind of idea that occurs at 2am after returning home from the pub, but intriguing nonetheless.

They went down a treat. I had four.
