Capitalist Pig!

OK, so my Lotto site is entirely funded through advertising at the moment. That's gonna change when I fire up the SMS service which pays me 15p per message sent. I've spent this week finalising the Admin area (as much as I need to do, anyway), polishing the site and adding an SMS page and animated GIF to the advert column on both the website and the HTML Email I'll be sending out.

I did make a start on the Forums but.. well.. I'm always a bit wary because of the amount of bandwidth that they eat up. It's entirely possibly that I won't add them at all, so development of those isn't too much of a priority.

I'm also going to restart my Google Adwords campaign, as that alone pretty much trebled the number of users I've got on the site.

Still no bits from eBuyer

What the hell was I thinking? eBuyer still haven't got my bits to me despite the fact I ordered them last Wednesday. I sent them an eNote asking for a refund of my delivery charge but, aha, it's on the same ticket as the one asking them to update my Credit Card expiry dates, and so it'll probably get ignored. On past performance I'll get a response sometime around August.

I have a theory about this eNote bollocks. You can only open one 'Ticket' at a time, which basically means you can only complain about one thing at a time unless you just pile your eNotes into the same ticket willy-nilly. Like I just did. Of course, there's probably some rule deep in the T&C's that says anything not related to the topic of the ticket will be ignored, which means they only take notice of your first complaint.

In addition, I reckon there's only one person (called Adam) actually dealing with these frickin' eNotes. Occasionally he changes his name to Chris, or something else, and he can only handle one eNote at a time, so if he's waiting for a response from a colleague on an eNote, he won't look at the next one in the list - they can just fecking wait.

That is my theory on Brontasaurusses eBuyer f*cking eNotes.
