Today's the day...

...hopefully, that the PC Bits arrive and I can get on with building this monster (hah!) machine and make about £40 into the bargain. I'm expecting three parcels from eBuyer and then I'll be mostly unavailable for the next couple of hours.
And dammit, I forgot to order the bits I wanted again.
Cleaned the fish out this morning. We're fish-sitting for a family that are in Florida at the mo, and the thing is nuts. It was originally in a pond and it's been moved into an 8-inch plastic bowl, so it's forever swimming round. Round and round and round. This morning I tottered into the kitchen (half asleep as usual) and the fish appeared to be swimming in a bowful of gunk. Not sure why. Perhaps the direct sunlight is encouraging the bacteria in the fish crap to grow?
The inside of the tank was coated with a thin layer of smelly, slightly yellow slime. Gawd it was awful. Probably a mixture of fish food and fish sh*t for all I know, but it took a good few bits of kitchen towel to get rid of it. Much barfage threatened to ensue, also. Now that the bowl is clean and the water's changed, I can actually see the gold on the goldfish once again. I'm suprised it hasn't started to rub off.
And to make my morning complete, I got yet another jdbgmgr.exe virus hoax in my email. Hurrah! I sighed a bit, hit Reply-to-All and sent them this link.

Dammit, last time this happened I was just about to email eBuyer and complain when they turned up. Perhaps I ought to email them now. But if I don't mean it, it won't work. I dunno, I think they're out to get me.
