I took the computer back this morning after completely failing to get the modem working at all, and it turns out that the driver CD won't read, so I zipped back here to run off a copy onto CD-R. Then I discover that, despite being in the UK, the modem has to be left on the installation default of 'USA' in order to actually work - that's all that was wrong. Gnngh.

I detest crappy PCI Winmodems.

The rewrite of the Lotto site continues in fine style, although getting the same output in Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator and Opera.. Opera (!) is proving to be something of a pain in the arse. To be honest it's only the odd thing that's throwing up problems - this time it was a combination of text INPUT boxes and seperate stylesheets. Maybe I've done a bit wrong, I'll check tomorrow.

Today I finished both the 'Check Your Numbers' page and the 'Ball Statistics' page, both of which are now looking fine and dandy. The stats page looks especially purdy because I've stuck shaded bars in there to match the sexy form buttons elsewhere on the site. I'm very tired, now.
