Loose End...

I find myself, once again, with nothing to do today, as the slideshow presentation I was meant to be doing hasn't been fully written up yet, and so I can't get it all converted to JPG format ready to use. I have no idea how many 'slides' I have to produce, either - if it's a lot then I am going to be concerned that we won't be ready to visit the local technology centre, where the presentation is being given, in time for the showing on Wednesday afternoon.

So I'll write up my blog, instead.

Another minor misadventure happened over the weekend: we discovered that the car had been due for it's MOT on about the 24th and we'd totally forgotten about it. Seems we've been running around without a valid vertificate for a few days - oops! This is the car that (probably today) has done 111,111 miles and I'm pretty sure we're going to need some new tires as well, and it's an expense we could well do without at the moment.

Not only that, but we've discovered a leak somewhere around the roof gully where it flows into the guttering. Whenever it rains very heavily, the gutter can't clear the amount of water quick enough in that corner and it backflows into the roofspace - don't ask me how, it's not my house.
