Gnnngh! I ordered a 'Submit 400' from HostEurope which in theory would submit the domain of my choice to 400 search engines. Unfortunately they've submitted my work domain instead of the domain I'd given them, and so my web design business is currently being advertised in jewellery sections all over the web. Gah.

Ooops - heheh!

I got a strange SMS at about 4am this morning telling me there'd been a change in the server status. As this is only the first time I'd got the damned thing to work (the server sends them to 02, which in theory sends them to my phone) and SMS only allows for 160 characters, I decided to check the admin mailbox to see what the full message was.

120 messages later...

Seems we haven't checked this mailbox for months. There was a good deal of spam in there which had arrived in between the time a domain was added and the point where I added a catchall account - quite a suprising amount! In addition there were quite a few of these system notifications, none of which I'd received.

So I'm playing catchup :-)

Just had a Police Hofficer knock on the door, apparently someone has nicked a mailbag from somewhere (got my post this morning, thankfully, although it was all crap), and he was looking for some builders, something like that.

And he was younger than me - now I know I'm getting old...

I have a stinking headache now, it's been going on all day and it's just getting worse. To top it off, it looks like I'm going to have to drop someone off home in the next town over, which means at least a 20 minute drive each way. I could really do with getting my head down for an hour, though.

Mr.Foo's Justifiably Pointless site may soon feature a Blog! Phil is currently playing with BootBlock's Planarchy and should soon have entries spurting asunder. Yes.
