Weekend Work

Been a-paintin' the house today, covering it's faded glory with brilliant white ourdoor paint, and having much fun in the process. The temptation to 'accidentally' flick paint at each other almost got the better of us, but we resisted full mightily.

Job's going well at the mo, we've got most of the white done and nipped to B&Q for some bitumen to do round the bottom, so we should be able to get it finished pretty quickly. My only trepidation is the apex of the house - it's quite high and I dislike heights (or rather, falling from heights) greatly. Me being Mr. Clumsy doesn't help.

New Show: Swag

20:40.49 - Sunday 23rd March 2003   (Link to This Entry)

New on Channel 5 is a programme called Swag, fronted by 'Steve the Barman' from Time Gentlemen Please and which mainly consists of booby-trapped cars, trucks and unsecured material goods cunningly 'abandoned' in front of hidden cameras and the like.

My favourite so far has to be the mobile prison: a delivery truck left unattended with the rear door open and it's various goods on display. Along comes Mr.Crook who jumps in the back to acquire a bargain, only the driver nips back, slams the door and pulls off the side panels, revealing stout iron bars and absolutely no chance of escape.

Then they drive off in the lorry, with it's crooked cargo on full display. Huzzah!

And before I forget...

Mr.Foo has kept us bemused with tales of his battle with Amber Windows of Birmingham for a while now, but it seems that Revenge is His!

Nip over to Google and search for Amber Windows - the first link is the one you want. PWNED!
